NY Hudson Valley: Newburgh | Washington's Headquarters, Ballot Petitioning Kick Off

Join us for Orange County's 2nd Ballot Access Petitioning Kick Off.  We will be meeting at Washington's HQs in Newburgh, right next to the Tower of Victory.  The historic site is closed on this day, but the grounds are open.

We'll first go over ballot access training for anyone that needs it, pass out blank petition sheets w/ clipboards and pens........  Then I though we could walk the square of Liberty, Washington, Grand and Ann Street,  taking a corner in pairs.

If it's a beautiful day, we can also venture down to the waterfront.  Being a weekday there's not likely to be a big crowd of people, but I think it's a good place to get our feet wet and learn to feel comfortable about approaching people.

There is street parking all around and also a municipal parking lot on Washington Ave, off Liberty.
